Houston Auto Body Association Gearing up for 2018 Conference

Speakers from across the Lone Star State are scheduled to deliver presentations at the Houston Auto Body Association’s (HABA) 2018 Conference.

Speakers from across the Lone Star State are scheduled to deliver presentations at the Houston Auto Body Association’s (HABA) 2018 Conference.

The conference will take place Feb. 27 at the Wyndham Houston.

Among the scheduled speakers, Burl Richards will offer a firsthand account of the aftermarket-parts crash tests commissioned by attorney Todd Tracy. Richards, president of the Auto Body Association of Texas, will share his experience from the tests as well as the medical and scientific data that he received from Tracy.

Robert McDorman of Auto Claim Specialists will provide “true ways to fix more cars.” Richards and McDorman will show attendees “how to repair more vehicles, stop job loss by the insurance carriers and supercharge your closing ratio on repair orders,” according to HABA.

“They will point out how to navigate around the insurance claim procedures, share their successes and techniques to help each collision repair facility repair more vehicles, increase your bottom line and capture your customer for life,” the association added.

Finally, Ware Wendell will talk about his journey to share HABA’s message with the public and educate consumers on choosing the right shop. Wendell, the executive director of Texas Watch, has served as the legislative aide to a senior member of the Texas House and chief of staff in the Texas Senate, enabling him to work on legislation of statewide importance and giving him insights into the workings of the Texas Capitol.

The conference will close with a Q&A session and panel discussion featuring the aforementioned speakers.
