H&V Collision Center, a New York MSO, recently received Toys for Tots’ Volunteer Excellence Award for its support of the 2017 holiday toy drive.

“All of us at H&V Collision Center are proud to be able to support worthy organizations like Toys for Tots that do so much good in our community,” H&V Vice President Vartan Jerian said.

H&V has supported the Toys for Tots effort for several years, collecting donations of toys and other items from customers and employees at all seven H&V locations.

“We greatly appreciate being recognized by Toys for Tots and look forward to working with the organization to brighten the Christmas holiday for kids and families in the H&V service area,” Jerian added.

Founded in the early 1970s by Vartan Jerian Sr., H&V has expanded from a two-man operation on Oakwood Avenue in Troy, N.Y., to the largest independently owned collision repair business in New York state’s Capital Region.

H&V Collision Center now operates seven locations in the Capital Region and upstate, including locations in Troy, Queensbury, Saratoga, Colonie, Kingston, Schenectady and Clifton Park.

H&V also has been recognized for donations to community and veteran organizations. H&V has donated 20 vehicles to veterans or individuals and families facing special challenges. In 2017, H&V donated three refurbished vehicles to veterans at a minor league baseball game and also donated a refurbished van to a veteran housing service organization
