Miller Electric Announces Make My Miller Giveaway

Miller Electric has announced the Make My Miller giveaway to recognize enthusiastic welders and reward one participant with a customized Miller machine painted by Miller partner and professional artist Max Grundy of Max Grundy Design.

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC has announced the Make My Miller giveaway to recognize enthusiastic welders and reward one participant with a customized Miller machine painted by Miller partner and professional artist Max Grundy of Max Grundy Design. It’s the first of three different giveaways in 2018 as part of the WE BUILD campaign, which recognizes the many ways that welding makes our world a better place.
Make My Miller invites participants to pick the Miller machine they would like to win from a list of five possible machines — and then tell Miller how they would customize the machine if they were selected as the winner. Participants are encouraged to submit a photo of their suggested design, but that is not a requirement to enter. The winner can choose from these Miller machines:
  • Multimatic 215 with TIG kit
  • Maxstar 161 STH
  • Dynasty 280 DX Multiprocess with ArcReach 8 Feeder
  • Bobcat 250 EFI (Kohler)
  • Spectrum 625 X-TREME
From April 16 through May 31, participants can enter the giveaway by completing an entry form on the Miller Facebook page or at MillerWelds.com. After submitting their form, entrants will have the opportunity to earn one bonus entry for each person they successfully refer to enter the giveaway. Approved entries that include an image will be displayed in a gallery on the entry form, providing new participants with a source of inspiration as they share their own custom design ideas. The winner be randomly selected and announced on or around June 5.
The Make My Miller winner will work with Max Grundy to design the custom artwork that will appear on their machine. Grundy’s work is reminiscent of propaganda art, utilizing a limited color palette, dramatic text and design to create maximum effect. Today, Grundy – a lifelong welder – also restores and builds the cars featured in his artwork. He was selected to create original art for the annual SEMA Show in 2014 and has displayed his builds at the show: a 1959 Pontiac station wagon and a 1950 COE truck. Grundy’s clients include Disney, and he starred in the Discovery Channel special, “MAX GRUNDY.”
