AASP/NJ to Host Strategic Improvements Seminar

The seminar, "Open Your Eyes...and You WILL Become a Game Changer," will focus on strategic improvements in the collision repair industry.

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) will be hosting its first event that is part of a brand new training seminar for 2018. The event, “Open Your Eyes…and You WILL Become a Game Changer,” will be held on June 25 from 6-10 p.m. at Ultimate Collision Repair, Inc. in Edison, N.J.
The seminar will focus on strategic improvements in the collision repair industry and will be presented by AASP/NJ President Jerry McNee (Ultimate Collision Repair, Inc.) and noted industry educator John Niechwiadowicz (QLC, Inc.). Their discussion will focus on strategic improvements, not just for “the company” but for everyone on the team. They will explore and discuss critical components that will result in a better, more efficient, more profitable, more productive and more enjoyable collision repair business environment. The event will also delve into various critical topics relating to the collision repair industry, including:
  • An update on the top KPIs every highly successful team should know
  • Labor rate trends
  • The components of effective communication
  • Forecasting for 2018
  • The importance of job costing
“This is a meeting about understanding the cost of doing business,” said Charles Bryant, AASP/NJ executive director. “One of the main problems this industry faces is that many shops don’t know how much they need to make to be profitable. The industry has reached the bottom line through cost shifting for so long that it has muddied the waters on what shops really need to be profitable. This meeting will clear all that up. Everyone in the industry ought to be there and pay close attention to what will be presented.”
There is no charge for AASP/NJ members to attend this event; non-members pay $75. Pre-registration is required. Food and drinks will be provided.
To register, contact AASP/NJ Executive Director Charles Bryant at (732) 922-8909. Visit aaspnj.org for updates on other upcoming AASP/NJ training sessions and events.
