Mitchell, AirPro Diagnostics Announce Strategic Integration Agreement

Mitchell International, Inc., has signed a strategic integration and joint marketing agreement with AirPro Diagnostics, LLC, to integrate AirPro’s collision diagnostics solutions with the Mitchell Diagnostics System.

Mitchell International, Inc., has signed a strategic integration and joint marketing agreement with AirPro Diagnostics, LLC, to integrate AirPro’s collision diagnostics solutions with the Mitchell Diagnostics System. The companies will work together to incorporate AirPro documents seamlessly into the workflow employed by Mitchell Diagnostics users.

The Mitchell Diagnostics system is a comprehensive collision repair diagnostics solution, operating on all makes and models and providing both scanning and diagnostic repair capabilities – without per-scan transaction fees. Mitchell Diagnostics combines appraisal and collision repair workflow applications with Bosch’s scan tools. AirPro’s OEM-compliant scan tool gives repairers the ability to perform scan, calibrations and update module programming, and also features a one-click capability to gain on-demand access to its ASE-certified technicians, who can help perform scanning, advanced diagnostics and safety system calibrations.

“With new automotive technologies being introduced so rapidly, it is not uncommon for even the best-trained technicians to occasionally be faced with a vehicle diagnostics issue that they haven’t encountered before,” said Thomas Butch, senior product management director at Mitchell. “For repairers who choose both AirPro and Mitchell Diagnostics, there is now an ASE-certified technician just a click away – and all documents will flow through Mitchell Diagnostics for much greater ease of operations.”

Mitchell Diagnostics allows repairers to execute diagnostic repairs in-house, including recalibrations, system resets and module reprogramming. Its workflow design integrates seamlessly with Mitchell Connect and works seamlessly with other collision and claims management systems.

“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Mitchell,” said Michael Quinn, senior vice president of business development for AirPro. “They have long been a leader in assisting the repair industry in making proper and safe repairs, a value AirPro shares. Now, Mitchell customers can take advantage of the benefits of our OEM-compliant scan tool, connected directly to the vehicle, and access to our ASE-certified technicians, who can help perform scanning, advanced diagnostics and safety system calibrations.”
