Registration for Collision Technician Symposium Now Open

The event, to be held in Columbus, Ohio, will offer a glimpse into many important elements of current and future collision repair requirements.

Stan Mitchell Enterprises has announced that registration for its 2019 Collision Technician Symposium is now open. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lindsay Honda, 5959 Scarborough Boulevard in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets are $25 at the door. 

The event will consist of two half-day presentations and lunch, and will offer a glimpse into many important elements of current and future collision repair requirements.

Presentations will cover:

  • Current as well as future I-CAR training classes and reference materials available through the I-CAR RTS website
  • State-of-the-art equipment offerings and future advancement trends
  • Paint and material product evolution and proper use of reference data
  • A legal perspective on the responsibility and ultimate accountability collision repairers have for repair quality; staying current in tool-to-task skills; expectations of OEM certification programs
  • Data sharing, repair reference sources and why it’s important for repairers to have and use
  • A tour of the Lindsay Honda/Acura parts inventory department; see and discuss the collision-related service department and mechanical/electronic code clearing and calibration procedures
