ASA Kicks Off AutoInc. Photo Contest with ‘Best Waiting Area’ Category

If your collision repair shop has an outstanding customer waiting area, the Automotive Service Association (ASA) has the perfect contest for you.

If your collision repair shop has an outstanding customer waiting area, the Automotive Service Association (ASA) has the perfect contest for you.

The contest will be the first in a series of ASA competitions aimed at bringing positive attention to service and repair shops in the U.S.

“We are always excited when we can honor those in the auto repair industry who are doing great things,” said Ray Fisher, executive director of ASA. “This contest and other upcoming contests will give us the opportunity to do just that.”

Entries will be accepted through Friday, May 31. To enter, click here. Winners will be announced the week of June 10.

After this contest is completed, ASA – in conjunction with the new AutoInc.org – has plans for additional contests, including selecting the “Best Internet Wi-Fi Corner” and the “Best Service Counter.” Plus, AutoInc.’s Annual Top 10 Websites Contest will kick off June 1.

“We are bringing back our popular photo contest to include the entire industry and not just ASA member-shops,” said Leona Dalavai Scott, marketing and communications director for ASA. “We want to shine a positive light on the industry and extend ASA’s outreach to nonmember shops through this contest.”

One of the new multimedia features of the AutoInc.org website is slideshow galleries, which allow ASA to showcase all entries. ASA hopes that featuring shops’ waiting areas on its publication website will inspire and encourage other facilities across the country.
