AutoWorks Paintless Dent Repair and Catastrophe Solutions International announced the closing of a merger that unites two of the premier claims management and automotive hail repair companies in North America.

AutoWorks Paintless Dent Repair and Catastrophe Solutions International announced the closing of a merger that unites two of the premier claims management and automotive hail repair companies in North America.

The new company will operate under the name SolutionWorks in the U.S. and continue to do business in Canada as Catastrophe Solutions International. Former AutoWorks CEO Tim Walsh and former Catastrophe Solutions International CEO Darris McClure will jointly manage SolutionWorks as co-CEOs.

“We are very excited to bring together best-in-class people, systems and processes,” said Walsh. “The merger provides unprecedented resources to our insurance, collision repair and fleet partners as we offer solutions to assist them drive revenue and improve the customer experience.”

Added McClure, “Our new company will have significant market representation in all of the key hail-prone North American markets. This geographic presence will allow us to better serve our customers and to provide great opportunities for our employees as well as our appraisal and PDR technician partners.”

SolutionWorks will offer industry-leading hail catastrophe management, day-to-day claims handling and paintless dent repair services. The company will also provide repair scheduling services, call center and customer contact resources, overspray mitigation and other peril handling as a part of its comprehensive service offering.

“Consolidation makes a lot of sense to better serve our industry,” Walsh and McClure said. “We are confident that the merger creates a new company in SolutionWorks that is stronger than its legacy businesses were individually and will provide unparalleled customer service to both its insurance and collision repair partners. This combined strength in people and resources is now more important than ever in light of the challenges being presented by COVID-19.”
