OEC to Provide Mazda with RepairLink Technology

OEConnection LLC (OEC) announced it will provide Mazda North American Operations with RepairLink, a mechanical parts sourcing technology.

OEConnection LLC (OEC) announced it will provide Mazda North American Operations with RepairLink, a mechanical parts sourcing technology. Mazda is the 10th OEM to adopt RepairLink to facilitate their online OEM parts marketing program, with RepairLink programs covering over 80% of U.S. vehicles.

The RepairLink solution allows participating Mazda dealers to offer competitively priced OEM parts to the more than 40,000 repair facilities actively using the platform to search for and buy parts each month. RepairLink also provides dealers with the opportunity to offer promotional pricing on popular parts through the Parts Marketing Program (PMA), and online access to part ordering and fulfillment. Currently, there are approximately 6,200 active dealers utilizing RepairLink as their mechanical parts sourcing ecommerce platform.

“We are excited to continue to grow our relationship with the Mazda team by implementing the RepairLink solution to further grow their OEM parts sales,” said Jon Palazzo, general manager of mechanical and retail, OEC. “Typically, RepairLink dealers participating in an OEM parts marketing program see a nearly 60% increase in part sales, and OEC anticipates Mazda experiencing similar success in the market.”

With data supplied to OEC directly from the OEMs, RepairLink provides the largest OEM parts catalog currently available online, offering repair facilities and heavy-duty customers access to hundreds of thousands of manufacturer-backed parts priced to compete with aftermarket suppliers. Repair facilities and heavy-duty customers can enroll for free in RepairLink Shop to gain 24/7 access to more than 23 OEM brand part inventories, all housed within a single online marketplace. Buyers enrolled in RepairLink can also increase part order accuracy through VIN-based part look-up, access diagrams and illustrations, and utilize the support of OEC’s customer success team.

“Mazda is eager to implement the RepairLink solution to grow our online mechanical parts sales presence and expand our relationships with shops that depend on genuine Mazda OE parts to complete high quality and efficient repairs,” said Randy Nowell, senior manager, service and parts field operations at Mazda. “Additionally, customer safety and satisfaction are of the utmost importance to the Mazda team, and the RepairLink platform allows us to continue to meet these high standards.”

Currently, RepairLink provides parts catalogs for 98% of vehicles on the road..
