CARSTAR Porter’s Kearney Body Shop Opens in Missouri

Owner Aaron Porter grew up in the collision repair industry, much like his father, who opened his own facility in 1982.

CARSTAR announced the opening of CARSTAR Porter’s Kearney Body Shop in Kearney, Mo.

Owner Aaron Porter grew up in the collision repair industry, much like his father, who opened his own facility in 1982. Purchasing the repair center from his dad in 2015, Porter has been able to grow his business already, with the goal of continuing that growth.

“Ironically, my father once worked for the first CARSTAR owner, Bill Wicklund in Overland Park, so I have always known about the company and kept an eye on it,” said Porter. “Wanting to refine our operations so that we could increase the number of cars coming through our facility, I decided that joining CARSTAR would be the best move for us.”

CARSTAR Porter’s Kearney Body Shop is an 8,000-square-foot facility, is aluminum ready and equipped with the latest technologies. With a dynamic and close-knit team, Porter provides opportunities for his young and talented team to grow their skills while also having fun.

“The majority of the CARSTAR facilities within our network are generational owners, so they extend the family feeling into the workplace,” said Dean Fisher, president, CARSTAR. “Having these close ties within the workplace translates to premier customer service, as they treat everyone who comes through the facility like a member of the team.”

Active in supporting not only needy members of the community but also other business owners, the team at CARSTAR Porter’s Kearney regularly gives back. Whether it is emceeing a holiday event or helping set up tents at downtown events, CARSTAR states that this team cares about the community it serves.

CARSTAR is actively seeking new franchise partners. Interested parties should call (844) 906-9764 or visit CARSTARFranchise.com.
