BodyShop Business, CREF to Auction Off Daytona 500 Tickets

BodyShop Business and the Collision Repair Education Foundation are auctioning off four Daytona 500 grandstand tickets (donated by GEICO) to benefit high school and college collision programs, students and instructors across the country.

It’s time to rev your engines, because BodyShop Business and the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) have partnered together to auction off four Daytona 500 grandstand tickets to benefit high school and college collision programs, students and instructors across the country. The tickets have been donated by GEICO.

“CREF is thankful to GEICO for donating the four Daytona 500 grandstand tickets that we are auctioning together with BodyShop Business magazine,” said Brandon Eckenrode, director of development for CREF. “Funds raised will help CREF continue its efforts in supporting high school and college collision programs across the country. As CREF celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, we invite other companies who might have unique items and opportunities to auction to reach out and join us in supporting the industry’s future professionals.”

Added BodyShop Business Publisher Frank Bird, “We could not be more happy to be supporting the Collision Repair Education Foundation and the next generation of collision technicians. This is a great opportunity for the readers of BodyShop Business and the entire industry.”

Bids will be taken on Instagram. Anyone who would like to make a bid needs to follow both BodyShop Business and CREF on Instagram and then leave a comment on the BodyShop Business Instagram post announcing the auction with the dollar amount they would like to bid for the tickets. The auction will end Feb. 10 at midnight, at which time BodyShop Business will contact the highest bidder via direct message. If the highest bidder does not pay within 24 hours, the runner-up bidder will have the next chance to secure the tickets.
