Celette to Award Training Scholarships to SkillsUSA Medalists

Celette North America has announced that it will be awarding training scholarships to the top three medalists in both the High School and College/Post Secondary categories of the SkillsUSA Collision Repair Technology Contest being held June 24-25 at Bartle Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.

More than 15,000 students, teachers and business partners will attend the week-long SkillsUSA event. About 5,000 career and technical education students, all state contest winners, will compete in over 91 different technical, trade and leadership fields.

“Celette North America is dedicated to educating these students for future employment,” said Timothy Morgan, director of technical services and training for Celette NA, who has served on the SkillsUSA Collision Repair Technology Committee for two years as a volunteer. “With ever-changing vehicle designs and material used to build the vehicle, ‘high-tech’ equipment from computerized measuring, holding fixtures and smart welders are all necessary today and even more in the future. This is just a smart part to add to the students’ knowledge and prepare them for the workforce.”

Celette NA congratulates all the competitors from the local, regional, state and national levels who have participated this year, and also thanks their instructors, advisors and the industry supporters who make these competitions happen while supporting education.
