New Pro-Spray Site Helps with Waterborne Conversion

Pro-Spray Automotive Finishes, a division of Alco Industries and a producer of European technology solventborne and waterborne refinishing products for the automotive aftermarket, has unveiled a new Web site for its Pro-Spray H2O Waterborne Basecoat system at www.ProSprayH2O.com.

The new, global online resource for collision repair shops provides access to comprehensive product information, conversion tools for transitioning from solventborne to waterborne paints and technical data, Pro-Spray says. The site also features answers to frequently asked questions, training information, downloadable forms and customer testimonials.

“It can be a dramatic shift for shops to convert due to the different application techniques, equipment and training required,” said Laura Yerkey, marketing manager. “ProSprayH2O.com is like having a professional at your fingertips. The site helps guide shop owners and painters through the decision and provides step-by-step assistance in making and implementing the switch.”

Pro-Spray H2O is a fully compliant, stand alone, compact waterborne basecoat color system. H2O’s European formulation and technology delivers solid, metallic, pearl and xirallic basecoat colors that are easy to use and simple to blend, while providing excellent color match and metallic orientation, Pro-Spray says.

H2O also has minimal VOCs, helping body shops reduce their impact on the environment.
