Collision Plus Grows in Southern Illinois

The 9,300-square-foot facility replaces another location in Glen Carbon and joins three other locations in the surrounding area.

Collision Plus announced the opening of a new repair center in Glen Carbon, Ill. The 9,300-square-foot facility, located at 28 Kettle River Drive, replaces another location in Glen Carbon and was acquired to meet the growing needs of the city and the surrounding communities of Edwardsville, Maryville, Troy, Collinsville and Roxana.

The new location, along with three other locations in Belleville, Swansea and O’Fallon, will enable Collision Plus to serve the Southern Illinois counties of Saint Clair and Madison, the company says.

"This new location gave us the opportunity to design a state-of-the-art, team-based work environment that focused on improved workflow to reduce the ‘crash to completion’ repair time, enhancing the customer’s experience and helping us achieve our company mission of delighting customers," said Chief Operating Officer Andy Cooksey. "We are especially proud to have created an environmentally friendly business through the selection of our products and equipment and by seeking guidance from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and the EPA’s ‘Design for the Environment’ guidelines."

Collision Plus has been in business since 1989 under the ownership of Nick Gojmeric.
