VehicleOwnersGuide.com Introduces Free Collision Parts Purchasing Organization

VehicleOwnersGuide.com announced the introduction of its collision parts purchasing organization. According to VehicleOwnersGuide.com, the purchasing organization is free and open to all collision repair facilities in the U.S. and Canada, has no upfront or yearly fees, and is designed around marketing rebates, not parts discounts.

VehicleOwnersGuide.com also says that no information is shared with any third parties.

“We decided to create a free parts purchasing organization that leverages the purchasing power of the 2,500-plus monthly visitors to EstimateScrubber.com and CollisionPartsSource.com," said Steven Siessman, president of VehicleOwnersGuide.com. "Dealers, manufacturers and other parts suppliers can post rebate programs to collision repairers in an effort to attract their business. Rebates earned will be processed by suppliers and sent directly to collision repairers.

"We felt it important to not get in the middle of the rebate process nor act as a middleman, collecting and re-distributing rebates to organization members. What we’re trying to do is provide an efficient IT infrastructure where collision repairers can consolidate their purchasing power and suppliers can reduce their marketing costs by efficiently presenting rebate programs to a large group of collision repairers.

"The purchasing organization is not a co-op or member-owned organization but a service that makes supplier rebate information available to collision repairers and allows repairers to consolidate their purchasing power through inclusion in the group.”

Collision repairers can be included in the purchasing organization by creating a free CollisionPartsSource.com account. When an estimate is scrubbed on EstimateScrubber.com, vendor rebate programs in their area are shown. Collision repairers and suppliers use their normal ordering methods, be it fax, e-mail or any of the electronic parts ordering systems, to process the parts orders. To claim rebates, repairers simply click a link when they scrub estimates.

Dealers, manufacturers and other parts suppliers can present rebate programs by creating a supplier account on CollisionPartsSource.com and enrolling as a vendor. According to VehicleOwnersGuide.com, there is no upfront, set-up or monthly fees. Suppliers pay only a few dollar transaction fee for each vehicle they supplied parts.
