ABRA Auto Body & Glass Acquires Two CARSTAR Locations

Acquisition of Affordable Auto Body CARSTAR, located near Milwaukee, brings total number of ABRA shops to 16 in Wisconsin; 179 nationwide.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass has acquired two Affordable Auto Body CARSTAR repair centers just south of Milwaukee, Wis.

Today’s transaction brings the total number of ABRA repair centers in the state to 16 and increases the company’s corporate and franchise repair centers nationwide to 179 in 17 states.

“We were looking to expand and strengthen our presence in Wisconsin as part of our national growth strategy," said Duane Rouse, ABRA president and CEO. "Acquiring Affordable Auto Body CARSTAR gives us the opportunity to further develop relationships with our customers and insurance partners in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest.”
 
Added Scott Krohn, ABRA’s executive vice president of operations, “We look forward to utilizing our operational excellence philosophy and implementing our superior processes at both of these new locations. OpEx is how we significantly improve our operating metrics and why we consistently rate high in customer satisfaction in our repair centers across the country.”
 
ABRA’s newly-acquired repair centers are located at 5525 W. Rawson in Franklin and 5975 S. Packard Ave. in Cudahy.
