Assured Performance Board Votes to Expand Co-op

Assured Performance Network announced that its 14-member board of directors has voted to approve the expansion of their co-op with new vendors and nearly 200 qualified shops in 100 metropolitan market areas. The vote allows the co-op to more than triple in size, and Assured Performance can now finalize agreements with 27 new vendors who have applied to become preferred vendors.

With the addition of the new leading vendors, member shops will now have more choices and alternatives to receive rebate rewards through the co-op in order to get the best deals with the best products, a key component to shops continued profitability during the economic downturn.

"These new leading product manufacturers and vendors are hungry to grow. This enables us to provide our members with the pricing and quality products they need to be competitive and profitable,” said Scott Biggs, founder, CEO and chairman of the board. "The reward for our preferred vendors is that they can reach a huge buying group of the best shop buyers in highly efficient ways never before possible."

With more vendor choices, the co-op also can grow by allowing more independently owned repair businesses to join its buying group. There is no upfront fee for qualified shops to participate in the Assured Performance Co-op, but the shop must meet strict criteria to be a member.
