Atlas Copco to Showcase Compressed Air Solutions at SEMA Show

Atlas Copco Compressors will showcase its compressed air solutions at the 2014 SEMA Show, Nov. 4-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Atlas Copco exhibit will be located in the North Hall at booth 10309 and will feature the GA 7-15 VSD+ range of oil-injected rotary screw compressors. According to Atlas Copco, the GA 7-15 VSD+ features an innovative design that reduces energy consumption by up to 50 percent, compared to a traditional load/unload compressor of the same type, and allows for a compact footprint and low noise levels. Representatives will also demonstrate the capabilities of Atlas Copco’s compressor monitoring program, SMARTLINK, that increases connectivity between Atlas Copco and its customers with advanced, 24/7 data monitoring.

“Its ability to reduce energy consumption combined with the compact design and low noise levels makes the GA VSD+ range a smart choice for energy-conscious customers in the automotive industry,” said Robert Eshelman, vice president and business line manager for Atlas Copco’s U.S. Industrial Air Division.“When combined with SMARTLINK, our 24/7 compressor monitoring program, our customers can improve their bottom line by reducing downtime and increasing productivity.”

Other products on display include the reliable GX 7 oil-injected rotary screw compressor (available in floor- or tank-mounted versions and with or without an integrated dryer) and the AR series of intermittent, two-stage piston compressors available in vertical or horizontal models.

Those who visit Atlas Copco’s booth will have a chance to win an autographed Kurt Busch race car hood. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to receive a limited edition Atlas Copco diecast model race car.

Representatives will be available at booth 10309 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 4-6 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 7.
