CARSTAR Adds Regional Marketing Manager

CARSTAR Collision Services announced that Melanie Ando has joined the company’s marketing department. As the newest regional marketing manager (RMM), Ando will be supporting CARSTAR’s marketing efforts east of the Mississippi.

Ando was formerly with LIVE!media, a division of The Sunflower Group, that offers companies promotional services that build brand awareness through marketing products. As the director of marketing, Ando managed marketing projects for a variety of clients. She also launched and developed an external advisory council for additional support.

A graduate of Missouri State University, Ando holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Advertising. Prior to LIVE!media, she was an Art Director with the Kansas City Chiefs football organization.

“Melanie is an incredible addition to the CARSTAR marketing team,” said Bill Garoutte, assistant vice president of marketing.  “Her expertise at the field level will offer a new level of support and strategy to CARSTAR franchisees.”

Reporting to Garoutte, Ando will be responsible for coaching and training CARSTAR’s Business Development Managers (BDMs) and store personnel on the corporate branding process. Ando will also provide support and oversight to franchisees’ marketing plans and assist with in-store training.

“I’m proud to be part of the CARSTAR family and a marketing team that has taken such broad steps to increase visibility of the brand,” said Ando. “I look forward to working with our franchisees and BDMs throughout the country.”
