CARSTAR Annual Conference Set for Sept. 22-25

Event, with theme of "The Will to Win," will feature vendor expo and educational sessions focused on driving business performance.

CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts will saddle up in San Antonio, Texas, this year for its annual conference, which will include a vendor expo featuring the top manufacturers and service providers in the industry, a keynote address by nationally recognized Afterburner (a team of fighter pilots who deliver powerful leadership seminars) and a general session address by five industry experts:

• Greg Horn, Mitchell VP of industry relations
• Robb Knott, Nationwide Insurance claims director
• Jeff Peevy, I-CAR director of field operations
• Vincent Romans, CEO of The Romans Group LLC
• Matthew Ohrnstein, managing director of Symphony Advisors LLC

More than 350 store owners and employees will join the CARSTAR corporate leadership team to plan for the growth of CARSTAR in the years ahead, celebrate the successes of CARSTAR store owners and participate in training programs. CARSTAR also is expecting claim executives from a majority of the top 20 personal auto insurers who will be participating in conference activities and an insurance symposium on Sunday afternoon.

The theme for the 2012 National Conference is "The Will to Win," and all activities will focus on how North America’s largest network of auto body repair experts can drive business performance, enhance insurance industry relationships and strengthen the national brand image.

“Our national conference is an incredible opportunity for CARSTAR owners and managers from around the country to gather as North America’s largest MSO network to share ideas, plan together, address the challenges facing our industry, and explore how collectively we can leverage the strength and power of the CARSTAR network,” said CARSTAR CEO David Byers. “San Antonio is a terrific host city for our conference, and we have a very strong presence there with five CARSTAR stores and 12 total in the state of Texas. We’re looking forward to a great event and an even better year ahead.”
