CARSTAR Continues to Make a Difference with Recycled Rides Program

This year, 11 CARSTAR stores across eight states are joining the effort started by the National Auto Body Council (NABC) to donate refurbished vehicles to local non-profit organizations and individuals in need.

CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts continues to make a difference within their communities by participating in the Recycled Rides program to refurbish donated vehicles to local non-profit organizations and individuals in need. This year, 11 CARSTAR stores across eight states are joining the effort started by the National Auto Body Council (NABC) to make a positive impact in their own communities.

Recycled Rides recruits NABC members, collision repairers, insurers, paint suppliers, parts vendors and others to contribute in their own way. Over 1,000 vehicles have been donated through the program since its inception in 2007.

“Recycled Rides is a labor of love for our CARSTAR store owners,” said Michael Macaluso, president, CARSTAR North America. “By helping community members and their families with their transportation needs, we can help them have more productive lives, have the ability to get to work and have access to medical care and other needed services. We are very proud of our CARSTAR locations around the country who donate the time and financial support to restore these vehicles in conjunction with the National Auto Body Council.”
