Carubba Collision Presents $10,000 to Food Bank of Western New York

Donation will provide 400 turkeys to needy families in the Western New York community this Thanksgiving.

Carubba Collision Corp. President Joe Carubba presented a $10,000 check on Nov. 20th to the Food Bank of Western New York at 97 Rock’s Operation: Rock Out Hunger at the Food Bank trailer in Amherst, N.Y.

“Rock Out Hunger is a tremendous event to bring public awareness in an effort to help those less fortunate than us,” said Carubba. “We are thrilled to present this check which will provide 400 turkeys to families in our community this Thanksgiving.”

Accepting the check from the Food Bank of WNY was Catherine Shick, public and community relations coordinator, along with representatives from Trinity Food Pantry and Evangel Food Pantry who were on hand to load the turkeys.

“We are incredibly grateful to Joe Carubba and Carubba Collision Corp. for this wonderful donation,” said Marylou Borowiak, president and CEO of the Food Bank of Western New York. “Through the years, their generosity has touched the lives of thousands of local families in need. The Food Bank of WNY is thankful to have such amazing partners in the fight against hunger.”
