Carubba Collision Corp., a multi-shop operator serving the greater Buffalo area, presented two checks totaling $17,050 to the Food Bank of Western New York and the Niagara County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit on Nov. 22. The presentation was made by Joe Carubba, president, at the Food Bank offices in Buffalo, N.Y.
The money was raised during the inaugural Carubba Collision Golf Classic Tournament, which was held this past August.
“Thanks to the tremendous support we received from our sponsors and participants of our very first golf tournament this year, we were thrilled to present these checks to two outstanding organizations in our community,” said Carubba.
Accepting the check from the Food Bank was President and CEO Marylou Borowiak along with Mike Billoni, public relations director. Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour was also on hand along with the dogs of the K-9 Unit to accept their check.
