CDE Collision New Location

CDE Collision Centers Opens 11th Location

The new location in Des Plaines, Ill., opened on Aug. 14th.

CDE Collision Centers announced the opening of their 11th auto body repair center. The new location in Des Plaines, Ill., opened on Aug. 14th.

Chuck Freiberg, owner of CDE Collision Centers, has built his career transforming old dealer body shops into locations for his independent collision repair company, which now has 11 locations throughout Chicagoland, northwest Indiana and Michigan.

CDE Collision Centers is one of the largest independent auto body repair companies in the Midwest. While most independent shops are closing their doors, CDE has opened seven new locations since the opening of the Hammond location in 2010. Hammond was the fourth location Freiberg opened, a huge milestone for the company. Not only did the Hammond opening mark the 25th year anniversary, it was also the fist time the company opened a location outside of the Chicagoland area. Freiberg celebrated this event with a complete makeover for his entire company. Each location was completely renovated inside and out, was switched over to waterborne paint technology and applied new procedures for an improved workflow. The new look, waterborne paint and improved workflow have also been implemented in each new location.

“CDE’s renovations are the latest example of our continued commitment to provide a customer-focused experience for our clients,” said Freiberg.
