DuPont, BASF Sign On as Sponsors of 2009 BodyShop Business Waterborne Conference

The 2009 BodyShop Business Waterborne Conference is generating much excitement and interest in the collision repair industry, and DuPont and BASF have decided to capitalize on the tremendous buzz by signing on as sponsors.

"BASF is very pleased to sponsor the first Waterborne Conference sponsored by Bodyshop Business," said Darlene Eilenberger, director of marketing for BASF Coatings North America. "BASF is a strong supporter of waterborne technology and believes that it is clearly the next generation refinish technology."

James B. Evans, North American training manager for DuPont, said, “DuPont views the 2009 BSB Waterborne Conference as an excellent opportunity to educate and discuss with collision repair owners and personnel the productivity, color match and ease of use of our three waterborne products: DuPont Refinish Cromax Pro, Standox Standohyd and Spies Hecker Permahyd.”

BodyShop Business Publisher Scott Shriber has been very encouraged by all the support so far.

"BodyShop Business has chosen to ignore the recession and is forging ahead as the number-one information provider in the collision repair industry," said Shriber. "We applaud our sponsors and exhibitors for taking the same business strategy and choosing to support the conference."

Six other companies to date have chosen to exhibit at the conference to also promote their various low-VOC basecoat equipment and product offerings: SATA, CEG, Valspar, Garmat, UniCure and System One.

Registration is filling up fast, so collision repair facility owners should act now to take advantage of the early-bird special pricing of $49.95, which is only available till June 1. Call (330) 670-1234 ext. 234 or visit www.waterbornefacts.com.

Also, there are still plenty of sponsor and exhibitor opportunities available. Call Doug Basford at (330) 670-1234 ext. 255 ([email protected]), Don Hemming at (330) 670-1234 ext. 286 ([email protected]) or John Zick at (949) 756-8835 ([email protected]) for more information.
