DuPont Performance Services Offers Repairer- and Jobber-Led CE Courses

DuPont Performance Services, along with RR Custom Solutions and Cape School, is offering a series of  repairer/jobber-led course options.

The new, interactive series of courses provides an opportunity for repairers and DuPont jobbers to offer education to agents and repair policyholders as they apply for insurance. The courses also help existing policyholders prevent accidents, and help policyholders deal with the emotions and processes of the property and casualty loss claims. Each of the courses includes in-shop exercises to be conducted in the DuPont customer’s repair center where they can better explain all aspects of the repair process.

Cape School is an approved insurance agent certification and continuing education supplier in all 50 states. DuPont courses are currently approved in 21 states, with more state approvals pending.

DuPont says these courses generate solid public relations with agents, with the DuPont shop becoming a trusted adviser on the process, and the courses help the agents to be better informed as to how to advise their policyholders.

DuPont Performance Services members can either schedule Robert Rick of RR Custom Solutions or a local jobber to teach the courses. Rick is a DuPont Performance Services executive facilitator, co-author of the educational material and a 27-year industry veteran who has taught hundreds of CE courses. A designee from the repair center also can be certified to teach the courses.

“With the market for collision repair holding steady or declining, DuPont continues to look for innovative ways to add value for our customers to keep a steady flow of work to the door,” said Steve Trapp, performance services manager. “This proven CE method should add to our customers’ arsenal of marketing tools already at their disposal.”
