Hundreds of SEMA Show exhibitors will learn ways to target buyers, promote their new products and tips for setting up a cost-effective booth during the Fifth Annual SEMA Show Exhibitor Summit.
Taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center April 14-16, 2014, the SEMA Show Exhibitor Summit is a workshop where show staff connect with exhibitors face-to-face and provide exhibitors with real-world guidance on how to succeed at the SEMA Show, scheduled for Nov. 4-7 at the convention center.
“Before the Internet and email became so prevalent, SEMA Show exhibitors used to travel to Los Angeles to select their booth locations. Today, exhibitors go online to view a floor plan in real-time and select their space over the phone,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA VP of events and communications. “While the online booth selection process is much more efficient and saves exhibitors time and money, we’ve lost a key opportunity to personally connect with them. The Exhibitor Summit has proven to be extremely valuable in helping us to regain that connection.”
MacGillivray notes that past Summit participants report having gained valuable insight that they attribute to success at the SEMA Show. “We’re able to connect with exhibitors individually and help them with their goals and objectives,” he said.
Topics addressed during the Summit include ways to increase awareness, better understanding the buyer and cost-saving techniques. Participants may also sit down in one-on-one sessions with show organizers or show partners to discuss their unique needs, as well as tour the convention center.
Registration for the Exhibitor Summit is free, and hotel rooms and all meals during the event are included. Exhibitors are responsible for their own travel to and from Las Vegas, as well as for incidental hotel charges (phone, room service, etc.). Space is limited and certain conditions apply.
