Fix Auto USA Awards Franchisee of the Year

Vatche Derderian, a California-based entrepreneur and owner of four Fix Auto USA franchises, has been named the Fix Auto USA Franchisee of the Year for 2023.

Fix Auto USA announced that Vatche Derderian, a California-based entrepreneur and owner of Fix Auto Pasadena, Fix Auto Santa Ana, Fix Auto Montrose and Fix Auto Express – Anaheim North, has been named the Fix Auto USA Franchisee of the Year for 2023.

Franchisee of the Year is the highest award given in the Fix Auto USA family, and it represents the top performer in the Fix Auto USA network. Derderian was chosen based on criteria such as his leadership among the Fix Auto USA network, excellent performance, mentorship of other franchise owners and support for the entire Fix Auto USA family.

As one of the first franchisees in the Fix Auto USA network, this owner joined in 2011 and came equipped with an eager-to-learn attitude and hit the ground running. From analyzing the business, building a robust team and identifying opportunities to scale his operations and partnerships, Derderian has taken the meaning of success to a new level. The talented leader behind this location was previously honored in 2022 with the Arrow Award, an award presented to visionary owners who invest their time helping their own team grow as well as helping other owners in the network to grow. Derderian also holds a position on Fix Auto USA’s Market Leaders board, where he serves as a representative and mentor to the network.

The awards were presented at a gala event where Abra, CARSTAR and Fix Auto USA franchise partners gathered to celebrate the inaugural Driven Brands U.S. collision repair joint conference, along with Driven Brands team members, vendors and industry leaders from across the U.S. The Evolution 2023 conference was held Sept. 28-30 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Fla. The 2023 Driven Brands U.S collision conference featured two days of education, thought-provoking discussions and networking opportunities capped off with a charity golf event.

“I am humbled to be honored with this award, and proud to be a part of the Fix Auto USA family,” said Derderian. “They have helped our business set high standards, be accountable and set a platform for growth. We have learned from our peers and we try to pass those lessons along to others, and that helps the whole Fix Auto USA network grow and improve.”
