Mark Breihan, who will be responsible for developing company’s growing portfolio of regional and national accounts, spent the last 24 years at USAA Insurance as a physical damage specialist.
Hi-Tech PDR announced the appointment of Mark Breihan to national director of strategy and compliance. He will be responsible for developing the company’s growing portfolio of regional and national accounts as well as to educate them on all the mechanics of the insurance industry in relation to catastrophe events. He comes with a wealth of experience within the industry, having spent the last 24 years at USAA Insurance where he was a physical damage specialist.
At USAA, Breihan handled many responsibilities, including: managing every aspect of the Direct Repair Program (STARS) in four states to include 80 collision centers; being the first responder and catastrophe coordinator with hail, tornado, flood and wind events; and being the third-party trainer to include PDR vendors, independent adjusters and other hail vendors.
Breihan joins Hi-Tech PDR after working with them for more than five years as USAA’s preferred PDR vendor for hail catastrophe events.
“I am excited to make Hi-Tech ‘bigger and better’ and to really help them implement their business model to all aspects of the insurance industry,” said Breihan. “These guys have a great business model in place and are willing to work hard while being good listeners to the insurance companies. I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on service, accuracy and speed as it relates to the insureds, members, customers, insurance companies, MSOs and collision centers.”
