Insurance Auto Auctions Adds to Presence in Northeast Region

Company adds facilities for winter season in Rhode Island and Pennsylvania.

Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA), a business unit of KAR Auction Services and the leading live and live-online salvage auto auction company, announced the reopening of its facilities in Providence, Rhode Island and Altoona, Pa.

“The reopening of the Altoona and Providence sites strengthens our presence in the Northeast region,” said John Kett, CEO and president, Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. “The two facilities help us better serve our customers and meet demands for catastrophe (CAT) services in an area where strong winter storms are prevalent.”

The Altoona facility is located at 15369 Dunnings Highway, East Freedom, Pa. The Providence facility is located at 160 Amaral St., East Providence, Rhode Island.
