MAACO Opens New Franchise Center in Lauderhill, Fla.

New shop is first to feature MAACO's new customer-centric retail format and image.

MAACO has announced the opening of a new franchise center in Lauderhill, Fla., which is the first to feature the brand’s new customer-centric retail format and image.

Features of the new center include:

  • Digital sales boards featuring informative videos that ensure a reliable experience and transparency by empowering customers to make the best decision for their car.
  • Innovative kiosks providing a consultative approach to customer service, so that a client works collaboratively with and alongside a salesman rather than from across a sterile counter.
  • A retail color wall featuring 23 paint color options, allowing customers to experience first-hand the various types of car paints available.
  • Point-of-sale retail displays that add value to a client’s knowledge and experience and feature MAACO-approved products (protectants, cleaning products and wax) developed to enhance the look and feel of their car.

“I am extremely excited to open this new location," said Steve Chertock, franchise owner. "The modern features and technology will give our customers a closer look at the process, and enable them to really understand what services they need and why they need them. This new MAACO center takes auto painting and collision repair from a transaction to a collaborative service, one that will help us better serve our customers throughout the area and deliver on our brand promise to ‘turn the car you drive back into the car you love.’"

Chertock, who currently owns an existing location in Delray Beach, Fla., also plans to open centers at two additional locations during the next two years.

“As America’s body shop for more than four decades, we are committed to leading our industry with new technology, quality products and customer service,” said Jose Costa, president of MAACO. “All of our technicians pride themselves on quality and consistency, and this new format helps us take the customer experience to the next level. This new center is the perfect example of why our customers can trust that MAACO will always be easy to work with, reliable and affordable.”
