Nationwide Labor Rate Survey Now Available Online

Body shops can now conduct their own labor rate surveys at www.variableratesystem.com.

International Research Inc. has launched a new website, www.variableratesystem.com, that allows shops to conduct their own labor rate survey.

International Research Inc. says this is the fastest way to find prevailing rates in a particular shop’s area for comparable
repairs done by comparable shops. You simply insert the ZIP code and range, as
well as training and certifications of the shops you would like to
survey. Select the customer volume and vehicle make you’re interested
in, and watch the “Survey the Market” tool go to work.

After starting an online survey in 2012, International Research Inc. was overwhelmed with positive feedback from the industry.

"We knew we were on to something," said Devon Roemer, co-creator of the new survey concept.

After shop owners from all over the country told International Research Inc. what features were needed to make the website useful for the industry, the company developed a tool it calls “user-friendly, accurate and inexpensive.” Shop rates can be adjusted in the database at any time for free, and the more shops that participate, the more valuable the surveys become.

International Research Inc. is not associated with (or funded by) any insurance company, trade association or special interest groups. Funding is provided by sponsors on the company’s Web pages and the fee subscribers pay to use the "Quote" and "Survey the Market" tools available on the site.
