Mike Anderson of Collision Advice announced the recent addition of Scott Simmons and Dean Hancock to his staff of business consultants.

Simmons has more than 25 years in the collision repair industry, including experience working for a major insurer, working in a management capacity for a 10-location MSO, and most recently helping MSOs and other collision repair businesses improve their daily operations as a process consultant.

Hancock is working part-time as a Collision Advice consultant while still operating his own shop, Bob Johnson’s Body Shop, which specializes in heavy-duty truck and commercial vehicle collision repairs. His 30 years in the industry include 10 years as a technician and more than a decade as a paint manufacturer representative.

“Scott and Dean each bring their unique perspectives and specialties which will help our team assist shops with an even wider range of services and expertise,” Anderson said.

Simmons has extensive experience with successfully implementing collision business management systems, for example, while Hancock specializes in estimating and lean production management, particularly for businesses that include commercial vehicle repair such as heavy-duty trucks, RVs, trailers, etc.
