PartsTrader and URG Announce Integration to Simplify Recycled Parts Ordering

URG and PartsTrader announced the availability of a new integration that allows member yards to automatically see their inventory for each part and reduce manual data entry.

The United Recyclers Group (URG) and PartsTrader announced the availability of a new integration that allows member yards to automatically see their inventory for each part and reduce manual data entry. These factors speed up quote response time by yard personnel. By using this integration, the sales team can focus more time solving customer’s problems and closing more sales.

Integration users work within the PartsTrader platform, so there is no new software to learn. Yards can see their inventory as well as their tier partner’s inventory for each part. Members can take advantage of the integration with URG’s tier tables and the ability to pull the tier yard’s inventory in the order that the yard has configured. Delivery days per tier yard is a new feature delivered with this integration as well as tier markups by part type.

“This integration makes it easier for URG member yards to provide pricing, quality and delivery information to collision shops using the PartsTrader process,” said Dave Apseloff, national supplier director. “The data demonstrates that more quotes drive more sales, so providing a method to quote more efficiently is a win. This partnership with URG demonstrates our continued commitment to delivering value to the recycler community.”

Added Kristi Werner, director of business development, “URG has integrated with PartsTrader to help recyclers sell more parts. Now recyclers can quote faster and easier by displaying their parts and their brokered yards parts inside PartsTrader.”
