Richardson, Texas-based Service King Collision Repair Centers, a Richardson, Texas-based operator of high-quality collision repair facilities in the Dallas-Ft.Worth Metroplex, Houston and San Antonio markets, opened its first “Green Technology” collision center in Dallas-Forth Worth this week in Lewisville. This 30,000-square-foot facility has been outfitted with specialized equipment that will enable it to use waterborne/low-VOC paint.
“As we grow our business, we want to continue to reduce our carbon footprint,” says Executive Vice President of Operations Danny McKinley. “Using waterborne paint is just another step in the right direction for our staff and the communities in which we serve."
With wateborne, Service King believes it can reduce emissions, improve color match, produce less waste and increase turnaround time.
Service King, the largest employee and independently owned collision repair organization in the U.S., now has 42 locations throughout Texas.
