Team PRP Adds B & B Auto Salvage to Network

Team PRP’s nationwide network of independent automobile recyclers continues to grow with the addition of another new member. The addition of B & B Auto Salvage Inc., located in Rapid City, S.D., brings the current partnership total of Team PRP to 134 members.

“B & B Auto Salvage began their business in 1958, and has continually shown that their values and business practices match perfectly with those of Team PRP," said Mike Kunkel, chairman of the Team PRP national board of directors. "We could not be happier to partner with such a great group of people while we expand into another new market that will strengthen our brand.”

Beginning as a collision repair shop more than 50 years ago, the business has since transformed into an auto recycling facility. There are 13 full-time employees working for the company today.

“It’s a pleasure to connect with other top-notch automotive recyclers,” said  B & B President Theresa Bennington. “Team PRP and B & B are well-matched, and we know that teaming together will bring about even greater efficiency and value to our customers.”

Added Stacy Bartnik, executive director of Team PRP, “The second-to-none vision, values, and standards of Team PRP have consistently attracted first-rate facilities, and B & B Auto Salvage Inc. is no exception. We know, too, that this addition strengthens our ability to better service collision and mechanical repairers. Team PRP partners across the country work proudly together in a way that strengthens individual businesses, creates success as a group, and elevates the automotive recycling industry as a whole.”
