Service King Reaches Partnership with North Carolina Collision Center

Service King now has six locations in the Charlotte metro area and 253 locations in 23 states across the U.S.

BodyShop BusinessService King Collision Repair Centers recently announced continued growth in the Charlotte, N.C., market through a formal partnership with Rock Hill Collision Center and its two area locations.

Service King and Rock Hill Collision Center, located 25 miles south of Charlotte in Rock Hill, S.C., mutually agreed upon terms of the acquisition Aug. 28, effective immediately.

“We are very excited to be joining the Service King team,” said Mike Hargrove, Rock Hill Collision Center owner, who founded Rock Hill Collision in 2001 and went on to open its second location in 2014. “It didn’t take long to realize this was a great opportunity for our team and for our customers. I am very proud to now be a part of Service King. Our community will continue to receive the top quality service they are accustomed to from both of our locations.”

Service King now has six locations in the Charlotte metro area and 253 locations in 23 states across the U.S. Meanwhile, the acquisition now extends Service King’s automotive repair service to the state of South Carolina for the first time in the organization’s history.

“It’s an exciting time for Service King in the Charlotte market,” said Scott Ward, Service King regional vice president. “We’re excited about partnering with the Rock Hill team. They have built an excellent business based on superior customer service and quality. It’s an honor to welcome them to the Service King family.”

The Rock Hill partnership marks Service King’s third expansion in the Charlotte metro area this year, following the acquisition of Matthews Township Collision Center and Concord Collision Center this spring.

Together, the two newly-acquired automotive repair centers have the capacity to repair 325 vehicles per month.
