ULTRA 7000 basecoat-clearcoat refinish system was on both Dario Franchitti and Scott Dixon's cars as they crossed the finish line.

Dario Franchitti won the recent 96th running of the Indianapolis 500, while his Target Chip Ganassi Racing teammate Scott Dixon finished the race a close second. Both cars crossed the famed all-brick finish line with the ULTRA 7000 basecoat-clearcoat refinish system provided by Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes.

In winning this third Indianapolis 500, the crown jewel of the Izod Indy Car Series, Franchitti won a thrilling, wheel-to-wheel, battle-to-the-end contest that saw multiple lead lap changes among the race leaders. In fact, there were an Indianapolis 500 record 34 lead changes overall. For his victory, Franchitti received a winner’s share of $2.47 million from the $13,285,000 overall purse. Dixon received $1,102,000 as runner-up.
