Carubba Collision Corp., a Buffalo, N.Y.-based MSO, has announced the acquisition of Gary’s CARSTSAR in Jamestown, N.Y. Gary’s CARSTAR has been in operation for the past 21 years.

Carubba Collision’s new acquisition is located at 839 Foote Ave. Gary Adams, owner of Gary’s CARSTAR and a 45-year collision industry veteran, will be retained by Carubba Collision.

“Our expansion into Jamestown and Chautauqua County is a very exciting opportunity for our company,” said Carubba Collision President and CEO Joe Carubba. “It is our desire to bring that same high level of quality auto body service to the Southern Tier that our customers have enjoyed for so many years in Erie and Niagara Counties.”

Carubba Collision’s new Jamestown location will retain the 15 employees who previously worked for Gary’s CARSTAR and will add 10 more people once the facility’s expansion plans are completed. The new facility will also include an Enterprise Rent-A-Car operation on site.  Also included on site will be multiple insurance companies to handle all customer claims.

Over the past few weeks, Carubba Collision has increased its footprint in Western New York by adding three new operations and locations. The company now has seven locations with 10 production facilities.
