The Collision Repair Education Foundation announced that, in 2014, Enterprise Rent-A-Car donated $65,000 to the organization in support of collision students.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car began as a local replacement provider more than 55 years ago and has been developing grassroots relationships with dealerships and collision repair centers ever since. In 2014, Enterprise continued its longtime initiative by sponsoring the Education Foundation’s “Cars, Careers & Celebrities” fundraising event (at the Diamond Level), its summer golf fundraiser and its safety kit program – which included work uniforms, safety glasses, ear plugs and dust masks.
“We cannot thank Enterprise enough for its crucial support of high school and college collision repair programs, instructors and students,” said Clark Plucinski, executive director of the Collision Repair Education Foundation. “We also hope that this important initiative will be continued and duplicated across the country going forward.”
Added Mary Mahoney, vice president of Enterprise Rent-A-Car and member of the Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees, “As a privately held, family-owned and operated business, Enterprise is unique in the car rental industry because it’s always able to make decisions and investments for the long term. That’s why investing in tomorrow’s technicians makes so much sense, both for us as well as for our business partners in the collision repair industry. We are all so proud to be part of this effort.”
