CARSTAR Welcomes Russ Nolting as New Area Director of Operations

Two-decade veteran of collision and insurance industry will help grow MSO's network in the St. Louis Area.

Russ-NoltingCARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts has added Russ Nolting as its newest area director of operations. In his new role, Nolting will be responsible for providing consulting support for stores from an operating, financial, insurance and purchasing perspective, and delivering the CARSTAR EDGE Performance programs for locations in the Greater St. Louis, Mo., area.

Nolting has a combined 20 years of experience in the insurance and the collision repair industries. He began his career at Progressive Insurance, where he developed DRP relationships with repair shops. He transitioned to the collision side of the business with Gerber Collision & Glass in Skokie, Ill., where he spent nine years, moving from production manager to general manager of three Gerber facilities. He then became co-owner of a collision repair and mechanical shop, and most recently worked for Bill Mathews Auto Body in Springfield, Ill., where he helped improve their DRP insurance relationships and oversaw all day-to-day operations.

Nolting graduated from Western Illinois University, earning a degree in business administration. He also has I-CAR Platinum status. He resides in Springfield, Ill.
