Service King Opens Second Charlotte, N.C., Location

MSO acquires Matthews Township Collision Center, a 12,000-square-foot facility that currently services 120 vehicles per month.

Service King Collision Repair Centers announced its continued expansion in Charlotte, N.C., with the acquisition of Matthews Township Collision Center. The two collision repair providers officially finalized the partnership on Friday, March 27.

“This is an exciting step forward in our commitment to provide the Charlotte area with the very best in collision repair services,” said Scott Ward, Service King Regional vice president. “Our team looks forward to a successful future with this partnership.”

Service King now offers its collision repair services at two Charlotte, N.C., locations. The Matthews Township Collision Center partnership complements Service King’s existing Charlotte location on McAlway Road.

Gary Hogan founded Matthews Township Collision Center in 1998 as a one-employee operation. Service King states that through his guidance and focus on high-quality service, the company grew to a staff of seven teammates and built a strong reputation for honesty, integrity and excellence. His team is a consistent recipient of the Best of Charlotte and Angie’s List Super Service awards. Matthews Township Collision Center also earned an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

The 12,000 square-foot facility currently services 120 vehicles per month.
