Urethane Supply Company Qualifies Three New Instructors for I-CAR Course

Kurt Zimmerman and Ray Cahill, both of Upstate Auto Body Warehouse of Rochester, N.Y., and Adam Fulton of BASF Body Shop Mall of Toronto will now teach “Introduction to Nitrogen Plastic Welding."

Urethane Supply Company announced three new instructors for its I-CAR Industry Training Alliance course on plastic repair. “Introduction to Nitrogen Plastic Welding” is a three-hour course delivered in the customer’s shop for up to three technicians. Each technician gets hands-on training with five common bumper repair scenarios, including on thermoset polyurethane.

Kurt Zimmerman and Ray Cahill, both of Upstate Auto Body Warehouse of Rochester, N.Y., and Adam Fulton of BASF Body Shop Mall of Toronto were all trained to provide the course in September 2015.

Zimmerman will cover eastern upstate New York and Vermont, while Cahill will cover western upstate New York. Zimmerman and Cahill each have more than 25 years of experience in the industry as technical reps for Upstate Auto Body Warehouse. Fulton is a new technical rep for BASF but has more than a decade of experience in the body shop as a technician and painter. He will cover the greater Toronto area from his home base of Grafton, Ontario.
