Auto Glass Academy Opens for Enrollment

Academy provides affordable, instructor-driven, hands-on technician training to the auto glass and body industries.

auto-glassEqualizer announced the opening of Auto Glass Academy. Auto Glass Academy provides affordable, instructor-driven, hands-on technician training to the auto glass and body industries. The four-day course focuses on technical training, time management, customer service and safety using Equalizer brand products.

Auto Glass Academy instructors are AGRSS/AGSC certified and educate with a high standard of professional knowledge and skill. Equalizer states that they’re committed to personal and professional development and that their students remain fully knowledgeable of the best practices in the auto glass industry while following the current version of the ANSI/AGRSS standard at all times.

“When Gilbert Gutierrez, global education director, began his career at Equalizer in 1992, he created a training process to support our products,” said Eric Asbery, president of Equalizer. “Gilbert has now expanded that service that we have provided our customers over the years into the Auto Glass Academy. This is an accredited Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) program, and is a registered I-CAR Industry Training Alliance Member. Gilbert’s determination to bring the Auto Glass Academy into mainstream education is a direct reflection of his vision of an industry where everyone can benefit.
