Spanesi Americas Products Earn Global Certification from Ford

Spanesi Americas announced it has earned global certification for its products from the Ford Motor Company.

Spanesi Americas announced it has earned global certification for its products from the Ford Motor Company and joins a prestigious list of tool and equipment providers that are currently in the Ford program. 

As a part of Spanesi’s continued OEM certification program efforts, Ford has recognized and certified Spanesi products.

In a letter dated April 2, 2019, Gerry Bonanni, senior engineer of Paint & Body Repair at Ford Motor Company, wrote, “After our combined development and testing efforts at the Ford Paint and Body Technology Center, I am pleased to announce our continuing approval of Spanesi products: collision repair benches, electronic measuring systems, welding equipment, self-piercing rivet gun, [and] all other Spanesi body repair support products.”

Ford’s letter of North American and global certification of Spanesi products comes after a thorough evaluation phase of Spanesi equipment and tools. 

“Spanesi is very proud to be included in Ford’s continued efforts to present OEM certified tools and equipment to the collision repair industry,” said Timothy W. Morgan, chief operations officer of Spanesi Americas, Inc. “For the past several years, we have been working diligently with our OEM partners to provide collision repair facilities tools and equipment that meet and exceed the requirements necessary to properly repair collision damaged vehicles back to OEM standards. We look forward to working with the Ford Motor Company as we continuously provide innovative tools and equipment that meet today’s tooling needs of our OEM partners and collision repair facilities.”
