AkzoNobel’s Michelle Sullivan Appointed U.S. Sales Director

AkzoNobel announced that Michelle Sullivan has been appointed sales director for its Vehicle Refinish (VR) US-East Region effective Aug. 1, 2021.

AkzoNobel announced that Michelle Sullivan has been appointed sales director for its Vehicle Refinish (VR) US-East Region effective Aug. 1, 2021. Sullivan reports directly to John Griffin, regional commercial director – AkzoNobel Automotive & Specialty Coatings, Americas, and president – AkzoNobel, Inc.

In her new role, Sullivan is responsible for leading sales efforts across all VR segments in the East region and is part of the AkzoNobel Automotive & Specialty Coatings Americas management team. She was previously the strategic sales leader for AkzoNobel’s VR business in North America.

“We are delighted that Michelle is assuming this new role,” said Griffin. “Her appointment comes with great confidence that she will apply her impressive depth and breadth of collision repair industry experience to AkzoNobel’s ‘Grow and Deliver’ strategy.”

Michelle has been with AkzoNobel for a total of five years and has decades of collision repair industry experience focused on leading sales and operational teams. She has been active in numerous collision repair organizations, most notably the Women’s Industry Network, where she held various board positions and earned the honor of the ‘Most Influential Woman’ award in 2016. Currently she leads the AkzoNobel Women Inspired Network North America chapter, a network for empowering and advancing women at AkzoNobel.
