Shop Switches to Waterborne with Martin Senour Paints

Burkeville Body Shop, based in Burkeville, Va., has switched to waterborne basecoats using Vortex Waterborne Basecoat System from Martin Senour Paints, according to Bobby Wright, Burkeville Body Shop owner.

Martin Senour says it recently introduced Vortex, a waterborne basecoat system that uses a proprietary resin technology that allows it to behave like the solventborne systems.

“We’re very pleased to switch to this new coating system and will continue to give our customers superior results for their collision repairs as well as help to improve our air quality,” Wright said. “We didn’t switch because we had to, but because it’s a win-win situation – by transitioning to the new Vortex system we’ve made a commitment to our customers and our community.”
