Mitchell RepairCenter Adds Diagnostic Trouble Codes to Complement TechAdvisor Repair Procedure Data

Mitchell International, Inc. today announced that Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are now fully integrated into RepairCenter TechAdvisor, simplifying and accelerating collision repair processes for technicians by connecting them with DTC information instantly within their RepairCenter workflow.

All technical repair information, including code numbers, descriptions and troubleshooting articles, are organized to facilitate easy look-up when DTC information is needed. Technicians can search a complete list of DTCs for every OBD-II vehicle from their RepairCenter TechAdvisor Workspace, allowing them to quickly troubleshoot complicated issues while reducing the need to sublet out simple code resets.

"We’re really excited about offering this valuable tool to help simplify and accelerate operational processes for technicians," said Kate Fleming, product manager for RepairCenter TechAdvisor. "Mitchell continues to invest in TechAdvisor and the renowned Mitchell Parts & Labor Data database to provide the most comprehensive source for repair data in the auto collision industry. The addition of DTCs in TechAdvisor is an excellent example of our commitment to providing solutions that empower collision repairers with the essential tools needed to run their business more profitably and efficiently."
