Jordan Road CARSTAR Collision has received Nationwide Insurance’s inaugural Showmanship of Excellence award.
The Centennial, Colo.-based shop, owned by Gary and Stacy Boesel, was selected for delivering superior customer feedback. The couple qualified for the award as members of the Nationwide On Your Side Auto Repair Network program, which recognizes facilities and their employees for customer satisfaction efforts.
The Boesels’ commitment to community involvement also contributed to their selection for the award, including:
- Work with Nationwide Insurance and Colorado State Patrol to repair cars for Bait Car program to help prevent auto theft.
- Participation in Recycled Rides program, repairing and provided vehicle to needy family.
- Hosting the annual “Soaps it Up” car wash to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation and local dance troupe.
- Ongoing donations from each vehicle repaired at shop donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
- Multiple “wishes granted” to individual Make-A-Wish teens through vehicle repair and repainting.
- Ongoing bi-monthly visits (by shop owners and employees) to Colorado Veterans Hospital to visit patients with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), bringing special meals and donating various needed items such as exercise mats, videos, board games, etc.
- Annual sponsorship of South Metro Firefighters Foundation annual fundraiser for fallen firefighters.
- Annual sponsorship of Racing for Hope cycling event to benefit brain injury victims.
- Annual sponsorship of Junior Diabetes Foundation, Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and various local community support programs.
- Sponsorship of little league sports programs, local dance troupe and high school sports programs.
- Sponsorship of various local car shows and motorsports race cars.
- Hosting regular events as drop off center for food and supplies for needy families and work with local organizations for dispensing.
