The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) has approved TEKNA High Efficiency spray guns for use in the Los Angeles area. TEKNA products use low air pressure to produce automotive quality finishes, the company says.
TEKNA and CVi High Efficiency spray guns are also approved for use in the state of Texas and Vancouver, British Columbia, with more approvals pending.
The TEKNA High Efficiency air cap is engineered for optimal atomization of all coatings, especially high solids and waterborne metallics and pearls with a transfer efficiency equal to or better than HVLP, according to TEKNA manufacturer DeVilbiss.
